Can ChatGPT predict football outcomes more successfully than betting markets? This experiment tested that question across the World Cup by recording a prediction before each event, then comparing it with the settled result.
Every row below uses real Betfair Match Odds sampled before kickoff—then live, bettable and backable at the quoted price. The ledger keeps the original prediction, market price and prompt version, so the performance view is a record of pre-event calls rather than hindsight selections.
